Method for controlling the cutting accuracy of men's casual pants

Publish Time: 2024-11-25
1. Accurate measurement and data collection

To achieve the accuracy of the pattern cutting of Men's casual pants, accurate human body measurement is required first. When measuring, use a professional soft ruler to carefully measure the key parts such as waist circumference, hip circumference, thigh circumference, trouser length, inseam, etc., and record multiple sets of data to ensure accuracy. For special body types, such as customers with a big belly or thick legs, it is also necessary to measure the waist circumference, calf circumference and other supplementary data. In addition to human body data, the characteristics of the fabric, such as elasticity, thickness, shrinkage rate and other factors, should also be considered to adjust the measurement data accordingly. For example, for elastic fabrics, the relaxation amount can be appropriately reduced during cutting; while for fabrics that are easy to shrink, the size margin for shrinkage needs to be reserved. By combining human body data and fabric information, accurate basic data is provided for pattern cutting.

2. Pattern design and sample production

After having accurate data, pattern design and sample production are carried out. Pattern designers need to design reasonable trouser types, such as straight, tapered, loose, etc., according to the style of Men's casual pants and the needs of the target customer groups. In the design process, the use of computer-aided design (CAD) software can more accurately draw the pattern lines and adjust the proportions and curvatures of each part. When making a sample, it is necessary to strictly follow the design size and use high-quality cardboard or sample paper for cutting. The edges of the sample must be smooth and neat, and the markings of each part must be clear and accurate, such as the dart position, pleat position, pocket position, etc. At the same time, the sample must be repeatedly checked and corrected to ensure that the sample is completely consistent with the design pattern to avoid cutting errors caused by sample errors.

3. Cutting equipment and operating specifications

Advanced cutting equipment is essential to improve the accuracy of pattern cutting. The use of high-precision electric cutting machines or laser cutting machines can ensure the neatness and straightness of the cutting edges. Before cutting, the equipment must be calibrated and debugged to ensure that the sharpness and cutting depth of the tool are appropriate. When cutting, the operator must strictly follow the outline of the sample, maintain a stable operating technique and speed, and avoid cutting deviations. For the cutting of multi-layer fabrics, ensure that each layer of fabric is aligned and flat, and can be fixed with positioning pins or clips. At the same time, during the cutting process, the cutting quality should be checked at any time. If deviations are found, they should be adjusted or corrected in time to ensure that each piece of trousers cut meets the requirements of the pattern design.

4. Quality inspection and correction measures

After the cutting is completed, strict quality inspection is carried out. The inspector uses a measuring tool to measure the size of the cut trousers, and compares the design size with the allowable error range. Check whether the shape of the trousers is symmetrical, such as whether the left and right trouser legs are consistent, whether the curvature of the front and back pieces is consistent, etc. If size deviations or shape discrepancies are found, make corrections in time. For trousers with smaller sizes, they can be remedied by splicing or adding patches; for trousers with larger shape deviations, they need to be re-cut. Through quality inspection and correction measures, we further ensure the accuracy of the cutting of Men's casual pants patterns, provide high-quality pieces for subsequent sewing processing, and ensure that the final product is fit, beautiful and comfortable to wear.
